Exodus 7 — And God Sent a Greater Moses Exodus 7 is not ultimately about Moses standing before Pharaoh. It is about Jesus Christ standing before the ruler of this world. God tells Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh” (Exodus 7:1). Moses becomes a mediator — a representative who speaks with divine authority. But Moses is only a shadow.
