When God Changes the Law — A Glimpse of Jesus
In Numbers 27, something extraordinary happens. Five women—the daughters of Zelophehad—stand before Moses and ask for justice. Their father died in the wilderness, leaving no sons to inherit his land. According to tradition, the inheritance would disappear from their family.
But instead of rejecting them, God changes the law.
Moses brings the case before the Lord, and God declares that the daughters are right. They will inherit their father’s land.
